He is the consummate iconoclastic satirist with book titles such as Peace Kills (2004) and Give War a Chance (1992) . He earned his right to exercise his signature caustic wit by his in–harms-way, on-the ground war-correspondent role that took him to 40 different countries over 21 years from the tearing down of the Berlin wall in 1989, Kuwait 1991, Somalia 1993, Washington in 9/11, Egypt, Iraq 2003, “Lebanon, the West Bank, the Soviet Union, apartheid-era South Africa, the jungles of the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s Northwest Frontier, Bosnia, Kosovo, etc.”. [2] His satirical thrust is pertinent to Israel’s fight to survive.
In this YouTube clip from 1994, he analyzes the Clinton Administration philosophy and performance and it sounds like “Barak Obama Administration – Light”. With the political left, some things never change.

A friend who read my blog said that it was depressing. He’s right. It is. Because the situation in which we find ourselves, is depressing. ‘Depressing’ is in fact a euphemism. The West’s house of cards could collapse at any moment and it is only the graceful forbearance of the GOD OF ABRAHAM ISAAC AND JACOB that has allowed us to sruvive the last 39 years[2].
Thus, this blog will have an intermittent series of humorous interludes as an attempt to keep up the morale of the troops . . . a feeble attempt at humour on the ‘eve of Armageddon’ because we know that the outcome is ultimately assured.[3]

US Vice President ‘Joey’ Biden is always good for a starter and the mainstream media will not crucify him like they did Dan Quayle and George W. Bush. Vice President Joe Biden on one occasion (kind of) accidently called himself the ‘President of the United States’ then implied himself to be ‘Barak Obama’. This is one of hundreds of hilarious gaffes he has made that barely see the light of day from Obama’s media scribes. The one where he asked the paraplegic Senator to stand up was likely the most spectacular. [4]
‘Joey’ (as he likes to be called by his political supporters and friends) is preparing his bid for the 2016 Presidential campaign.

In late 2010, there was a series of shark attacks in the Red Sea off the Egyptian resort of Sharm El- Sheik(5). On an official Egyptian government news site, the governor of South Sinai, Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, speculated that the fatal attacks in the hitherto peaceful waters were due to “the Mossad throwing in the deadly shark to hit tourism in Egypt.” Other sources wondered if the Mossad had gone further and equipped the aquatic predators with GPS. Could be. Governor Shousha has undoubtedly seen the famous Hollywood film about a killer shark terrorizing a beach resort – Jews.
Oh, c’mon your not gonna let a one-vowel typing error in the poster throw you off what it’s really about, are you? Directed by the same infidel who made Shindler’s List, if you get my drift.[1]
Israeli humour
Israeli humour featured many of the same themes as Jewish humour elsewhere, making fun of the country and its habits, while containing a fair bit of gallows humour as well, as a joke from a 1950 Israeli joke book indicates:
An elderly man refuses to leave for the air raid shelter until he can find his dentures. His wife yells at him, “What, you think they are dropping sandwiches?”[2]
