Perilous Times and Perilous Men

3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

. . . interfered with the weekly entries in this blog since December, 2011. But once again, seismic political events have intervened to revive it . . . .

The Kid Gloves are Off

In recent weeks, the convergence of the Benghazi 9/11 incident, the Obama administration re-election, the Syrian civil war, Operation Pillar of Defense in Gaza, and the UN vote on Palestinian statehood . . . . . have shown that the predictable ebb and flow of international crises had been replaced by a remarkable convergence of critical events. They have irreparably changed the world as we know it: a quantum leap. It is the point at which a total paradigm shift is necessary in order to evaluate potential ‘futures’.

This blog will emerge from its induced coma in order to assess the qualitative change in light of what Mark Steyn referred to as: After America[1]. It is now . . . After America.

What will this mean for Christians inclined to “. . . Don the Yellow Star . . .” ?

The nations[2] are poised for a suicidal plunge toward the latest genocidal impulse against Israel and the Jews.

We need to ‘talk’ . . . because the October 13, 2011 entry in this blog has come to pass. The ‘kid glove’ phase of the New Fascism has turned to the ‘iron fist’ phase.

THE CONFEDERACY OF FOOLS

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive amultitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”
