Leftists in Evangelical garb[1] are the pre-military ‘spoilers’ of Isaiah 17:14. The christian left have become the ‘useful idiots’ of Fatah, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. This I do not say lightly because it grieves my heart that it is so, and especially in light of the disgusting church complicity in the last Holocaust.[2]

While at a Q & A meet-and-greet session after a conference, one affiliate of a Christian ministry boasted of having been housed for several days with a Fatah police Colonel. He spoke of what a gracious host the Colonel proved to be.[3] Just this last week we heard of the murder of Ben Yosef Livnat – unarmed and shot at point-blank range by a PA soldier as Livnat departed the synagogue at Joseph’s tomb in Shechem during Passover. The lame-stream media found it unworthy of coverage.

The issue of the content of the Fatah Charter, the Hamas Covenant and the deeds of sadistic terror these organizations have performed routinely against innocent Jewish and Christian men, women and children are of little concern to these Christian champions-of-the-oppressed. They are also little concerned about the 2000 year history of pogroms against the Jews and the consistent instigation by either church or Jihadists. They are little concerned that their leftist and Muslim allies’ demonization, de-legitimization and double-standards have proven historically to be a prelude to attempted extermination. They are unconcerned that this time it is virtually a global phenomenon. The incitement rhetoric contained in the Arab-Palestinian schoolbooks, the existential threat of nuclear attack breathed out by Iran and informally ratified by Fatah and Hamas, are seldom mentioned, or passively decried. But they will stand with the ‘genocidals’ till the splatter of Jewish blood against the walls finally embarrasses them. To date it has not.

Hundreds of examples including the disgusting slaughter of Tali Hatuel and her 4 little girls and a baby boy in her womb (allegedly deemed by Amnesty International to be a crime against humanity)[4] in pre-Hamas Gaza; the butchering of the Fogel family in Ithamar just recently (including the stabbing death of a 4 month old baby) are selectively deleted. Apparently not enough. Christian-Arab apologists for the slaughter toe the Fatah/Hamas party line: “for every Jewish child killed we can state 10 Palestinian children killed by Israelis” (without evidence; without reference to the countless retractions of alleged Israeli atrocities).

The holocaust began with WORDS. The progressive demonization and isolation of the Jewish people[5] was followed by the removal of their civil and human rights. It could not have happened without the brilliant, systematized Nazi propaganda machine of Joseph Goebbels. It is happening again in the global media and at the very institution set up to prevent further war and genocide: the United Nations.[6] Christians are once again accomplices but this time not by silence, but by active participation.

Hitler told Europe what he intended to do. No one believed him.

HE DID IT.

Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Iranian Ayatollahs have told us what they intend to do. No one believes them.

THEY WILL DO IT.

Hitler used the evangelical Christians of Germany from 1924 till the holocaust as dupes in his extermination program. It’s happening again.

For Christians by becoming good, liberation activists, they avoid persecution by their Israel-hating comrades. The theological rationale is un-Biblical.[7] The Christian left and their allies the anarchists, communists and Muslim activists hate the so-called Christian-Zionist more than they hate Israel. What the ‘wise-as-doves’ left don’t seem to realize is that their allies-of-convenience hate them as well. In their naïve utopian dreamland, if the ‘Christian-right’ abandoned Israel and they were no longer capable of self-defense there would be peace in the Middle East. But they should look to their deceased Socialist-International member and past Prime Minister of Israel – Golda Meir to set them straight as to what would be the consequence of an insecure Israel. As the tragic truth is stated: “If the Arabs lay down their arms there will be peace in the Middle East. If Israel lays down her arms, there will be no more Israel in the Middle East”.

. . . it may seem strange that any professed Christian should enter a protest against the modern pacifist movement. . . We believe however, that that movement is dangerous, and that it has no necessary or legitimate part in the evangelical Christian program (pp. 10,11)

Earlier in the pages he states: We desire peace, but we realize there are some things worse than war. We desire peace, but not the kind that is found in the cemetery or in the slave camp.[8] Loraine Boettner

Neville Chamberlain’s foreign policy (appeasement) is alive and well today. It worked so well with Czecholsavakia in 1938 that it is the predominant approach of the liberal democracies of the West. The outcome will be the same as it was in Europe in the ‘30’s: war, and just as in that war the Christian peaceniks will aid and abet.

When one state for example, unjustly wages war on another, resistance on the part of the state which is the victim of aggression is nothing more than the application of the same principle. . . But western abortion-loving, pornography-consuming, morally-relative, multi-cultural liberalism is auto-genocidal.[10] Christians are supposed to know better than to ‘drink the Kool-Aid’.

The Islamist ‘fifth column’ has thoroughly infiltrated Western Europe and North America. Their allies are now spreading THE LIE in the heresy-ridden Western church. We are repeating 1937-39 as though it never happened.

In the build-up to the next Holocaust, the Christian-left are indeed; “. . . wise as doves and innocent as serpents. . .” In allying with the enemies of God’s people (Jew and Gentile) they are knowingly or unknowingly serving the purpose of ‘the serpent’. ‘We’ are without excuse.

THE LAST MAN STANDING: uniquely demonized, delegitimized and subject to gross double-standards by the most powerful nations and institutions in the world: continuously attacked by their neighbours, boycotted by so-called ‘charitable institutions and subjected to public threats of extermination by the world’s ‘peace-keeping’ body; no other nation on earth (including brutal, genocidal, totalitarian dictatorships) are subject to such orchestrated derision.

We of the ‘yellow star’ stand also with those courageous, persecuted Arab believers who love the Jews as Christ told us to love them. We ‘Jew-lovers’ Arab and non-Arab will stand alone, even in the so-called ‘church’.

As a high school student in the 1960s I saw the textbook coverage of the Holocaust in stark, horrifying black-and-white, photos. It is significant that they are no longer shown in high school textbooks. The change of world view which has shifted toward a leftist re-write of history has paved the road for the new anti-Semitism. It is not a coincidence that photos of the holocaust have been removed: after all they might ‘offend. . . ‘

As I gazed upon those photographs in 1964 I asked myself what I would have done in such circumstances. I believe I’ll have the chance to find out.

Vehicles for the Agenda of the ‘Unholy Alliance’

The PLO concept was an artifact of the Soviet High Command, formulated in the early 1960s in order to create a foothold against western democratic hegemony in the oil-rich Middle East.[1] Concurrently they established (through the KGB) a series of similar liberation movements in Colombia, Bolivia and Armenia. It was a Soviet political-military objet d’art. No previous occupying empire, nor the Jordanians (1948-1967) saw any need to generate a Palestinian nationalism in the West Bank or the parts of Jerusalem that Jordon controlled. But Russia did.

So out of a grim, Stalinist dictatorship came a concept that would build on a Nazi foundation. Haj Amin Al Husseini had shared Hitler’s vision of extermination of the Jews and had ample practice at it in Bosnia during WWII.[2] Haj is alleged to have headed up the most brutal SS divisions in the war: the notorious ‘Mountain Division’ that terrorized the Balkan Jewish communities for the duration of the war. It was composed of a variety
of Bosnian and Middle Eastern Muslims who believed what the Koran says about the Jews.[3]

Contrary to conventional wisdom, Fascism is a leftist phenomenon despite Stalin’s attempt to sanitize Communism after Hitler turned on him. The National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis) was simply smarter than the Bolsheviks in realizing that the Italian or German working class had nothing in common with the 3rd world worker, but would fight to the death for ‘national’ socialism. Thus the only distinction between communism and fascism is strategic: one is internationalist in its focus, the other ‘nationalist.’[4]

Joseph Stalin (“Papa Joe”) was sanitized during the war against Hitler like Fatah was sanitized in the war against Hamas[5] and now they and the Muslim Brotherhood are all sanitized as the “Arab Spring” immolates the Middle East at the behest of Hezbo-Allah and the Muslim Brotherhood.[6]

‘Papa’ had no problem formulating the Molotov Ribbentrop treaty[7] (which sold out all his ‘useful idiot’ Communist parties in the west) and he of course had no problem slaughtering the Polish Officer corps in the Katyn forest[8] nor a problem waiting strategically at the gates of Warsaw so that Hitler could wipe out the Warsaw Ghetto Jews for him.[9]

The same ideological and strategic ‘greenhouse gasses’ that drove the ‘New Left’ during the late ‘60’s are now evident 35 years later but are emanating from positions of power ! The same old indigestible plant material (Marxism, knee-jerk anti-Americanism, and anti-Israeli blame-game) is issuing from the talking heads on the West’s television news programs and Holly-weird rather than from the Soviet Tass News Agency and Pravda. Tragically it is also issuing from the Whitehouse and the American Christian church.

A case-in-point for the Christian ‘target’ is British Columbia’s Trinity Western University which became a willing accomplice in the process as it provided legitimizing venues for anti-Israeli propaganda films such as Porter Speakman Jr ‘s With God on our Side.

The film features a cute little dance between a Christian and Yasser Arafat (the Cairo-born ‘Palestinian’ who invented skyjacking, suicide bombing, ordered the slaughter of the Israeli Olympic Team in Munich and was responsible for the killing of more Arabs than he did Jews). The audience chuckled. To the film producers Arafat (the Al Husseini nephew) was just another cute, grandfatherly, freedom-fighter.

In the TWU premier of the film, the discussion panel had eight representatives on it, with only one supporting the Israeli position. In an audience of approximately 100 people, only six supported Israel. The event was not a critical review. It was a trial in front of a ‘hanging-judge’. But of course for the Left-Church, Israel has no position. Thus, a so-called Christian seminary became an accomplice to the ‘D’ of ‘de-legitimization’ which is of the three ‘D’s of propaganda-precursors to genocide. The theological rationale for discrediting any Biblical claim of the Jews to their land was quite sophisticated-sounding. It demonstrates a Reform Theological position which entertains some real academic heavy-weights[10] yet carries with it some real eschatological and historical ‘baggage’.

Then Vancouver BC’s Missionsfest included the Jim Hanon and Mart Green film: Little Town of Bethlehem. The film Old Radicals which preceded it, lionized Left-Christian interference with the IDF in exercising anti-terrorist measures. Filled with the new ‘prototypic’ Christian-pacifism, it was mercifully bereft of theological content and pregnant with moral-relativism and ecumenism. It ignored the political and military realities of Israel (though making the occasional milquetoast disclaimer about Israel’s right to defend itself).

The film totally mis-represented Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s position on Zionism[11] and appropriated his memory to the Palestinian cause. Throughout the film, large posters of the world’s most successful terrorist (Yasser Arafat)[12] were displayed without qualifying comment. But why not. He of course got the Nobel Peace Prize.

Just as in the Western ‘drive-by-media’ the story of sadistic murders, child killings and maiming, lynching, rocket attacks, mortar attacks and family slaughter by the ‘peace-loving’ Palestinians is ignored for fear of offending CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations). No radical-young-Christian-film-maker has seen the need to tell the story of the Jewish refugee crisis of 1947-48, the current bombing of Sderot or Ashkelon or the Skud attacks on Tel Aviv or the constant attacks against the civilians of the Negev Kibbutzim. None of them cover Colonel Richard Kemp’s account of Israel’s historic and heroic attempt to prevent civilian causalities in Operation Cast Lead (Gaza, 2008). The Israeli Defense Forces in fact made military history in their prevention of civilian casualties but this fact is of course drowned out in the cacophony of screaming leftist and Muslim voices quoting the scandalously, pathetically biased Goldstone Report.[13]

TWU then regrettably went on to have a symposium entitled: Christians and the Middle East Conflict in March 2011. No Israelis (heaven-forbid with a pro-Israeli or Zionist position), no so-called ‘Christian Zionists’ and no Messianic believers were either panel-members or keynote speakers: it was another show-trial in dry academic garb.

For all intents and purposes the Israeli position nor the much maligned and stereotyped ‘Christian Zionism’ had any position worth accounting for. Except for the 8 or 9 attendees who kept asking embarrassing questions from the audience there was simply no balance but of course, neither does the lame-stream media when it comes to Israel.

At TWU, the keynote and panel academics lightly touched the issues of the genocide against (and persecution of) Christians by Palestinian Muslims and Jihadists, the threatened genocide against Israel, the German-Fascist ideological roots of the PLO, global Islamist terror against Christians and Jews and the very existence of a hypocritical, orchestrated, global propaganda-campaign against Israel. It was a de facto ‘conspiracy of silence’ just as in the non-Christian universities which don’t entertain any guest speakers that don’t agree with their anti-Israeli positions (speakers like Geert Wilders, Ann Coulter, Mark Stein, Ezra Lavant, Noni Darwish, David Horowitz, Dr. David Hocking, Whalid Shoebat, Israeli spokespersons etc etc etc etc need not apply).

Al Jazeera would have been much more balanced.

“. . . God on Our Side paraded the discredited Jimmy Carter talking points that cost the Carter Centre 14 advisory board members in January 2007. Carter’s piece Palestine: Peace not Apartheid had more factual errors than pages in the book[14] yet the audience of approximately 100 people in a Trinity Western University lecture hall, all heralded “ . . . on our Side. . . “ as ‘courageous’, when in fact it was nothing more than a Christian-spin side-bar to an Al Jazeera, CNN or the BBC nightly news item.

So, ‘courageously’ the Christian Left join the main-stream lynch-mob against Israel as their comrades from the Unholy Alliance[15] applaud: useful idiots as in Nazi Germany. Blissfully unaware of the history of how the left and the Jihadists treat Christians, they enjoy the temporary glow of approval only till the Unholy Alliance gains power. Then they become Kafir, enemies of the non-separated ‘mosque-and-state’.

In the words of the old totalitarian proverb: “. . . and when they came for the Jews I said nothing. . .and when finally they came for me, there was no one left to speak.” . . . “

Christians and the Modern Propaganda War Against the Jews

The ‘Palestinian’ Arabs have been groomed to capture the ‘managed’ global media. It is one of the most masterful propaganda coups since Joseph Goebbels managed to re-write history and generate the ‘Myth’ so essential to the execution of Hitler’s ‘Final Solution’. In the documentary films of Eberhard Taubert[1], and the newspaper diatribes of Julius Streicher[2] the demonization was systematically promulgated.

But today the Palestinian Muslim-Arabs don’t do it alone. The middle-eastern Muslim dictatorships who hypocritically reject Palestinians as citizens and workers then use the Palestinian cause as a blunt instrument against the democratic west. They have financed the ‘Palestinian-oppression’ narrative to the benefit of international Jihadist organizations. The two syndicates (Terror and Oil) are hardly wanting in cash. If they truly cared about the Palestinian people, the problem would be solved.

It is one nearly unanimous voice from the UN, EU, North American media, the Executive branch of the United States government, the Universities and the international left-wing political parties. Dissenting voices are few and typically un-reported in the Main Stream Media (MSM). The ‘Myth’ is given the imprimatur of ‘conventional wisdom’: Israel is (to quote the lyrics of Bob Dylan’s spectacular song from the album Infidel) ‘the Neighbourhood Bully’ who stole Arab land and oppresses the indigenous Palestinians. The facts of the case are irrelevant.

The only hold-out of pro-Israeli sentiment that the spin-doctors could not control was the conservative, Bible-believing, evangelical Christian.

THEY (the leftist, Jihadist, Israel-hating propaganda machine) WANT (to remove as an effective voice) IT (evangelical Christian voice).

The ‘unholy alliance’ of the left and radical Islam [3] could not have imagined a more unlikely ally . . . a generation of young, self-proclaimed ‘radical’ Christian film-makers and theologians ready to take down the last bastion of pro-Israeli support on the globe. Then Israel will stand totally alone against the global aspirations of the Jihad and the left’s utopian vision.

A dove is hardly the most intelligent bird in the ornithological compendium. Jesus said that we were to be ‘harmless’ as a dove but not adopt its level of cunning.

These Christian crusaders trumpet the standard lines of their left-wing ideological patrons and recently-sanitized terrorist organizations (Fatah, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood). In the eyes of the US State Department these organizations seem to have miraculously repented of their terrorist ways and become ‘partners for peace’ and now the Christian documentarians have baptized them as freedom fighters.

Evangelical church congregations are exceedingly vulnerable to this pitch because they hear the same relentless drum-beat on the evening news. Now for once they can be in agreement with CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, BBC, CBC and the New York Times. “After all if professing Christian film makers say it, it must be true ! “

Yes, we’re on the same page; but we should not be. Just as in Hitler’s Germany we are serving as useful idiots for the latest fascist impulse to exterminate the Jews. The institutional church has dutifully served that function for 1700 years. Maybe for once we should stop it instead, and stand with the people of Israel.

What is unclear? Hitler, the Soviet High Command, Nasser, Sadam Hussein, 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, the War of Attrition, the intefadas: all attempts to exterminate Israel and the sovereignty of the Jewish people. But what could not be done militarily is now being done through propaganda.

So once again the young Christian radicals stand with the would be exterminators . . . seeking their approval. How noble ! Hegel was right: what we learn from history is that man learns nothing from history.

The Neighbourhood Bully

Well, he’s surrounded by pacifists who all want peace
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease
Now, they wouldn’t hurt a fly. To hurt one they would weep
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep

Every empire that’s enslaved him is gone
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon
He’s made a garden of paradise in the desert sand
In bed with nobody, under no one’s command

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon
No contract that he signed was worth that what it was written on
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health
He’s the neighborhood bully.

What’s anybody indebted to him for ?
Nothing, they say. He just likes to cause war
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed

What has he done to wear so many scars ?
Does he change the course of rivers ? Does he pollute the moon and stars ?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill

Sderot Letter

SDEROT

Dear Brian [1]:

Great to hear from you and I’m honoured that we were dorm-mates at the Base [2]. You and Sam [3] Sr. were the best! You are so well-read. Discussing the ‘big issues’ is such a treat. I know you have a heart for HaShem and I really appreciated that. It was a real honor to serve with you. Maybe Aliyah is in your future ? ? ? ? ? ?

Sderot: yes I got down there. I could not get accommodation until I had already returned to Ashkelon and by then it was too late. Town of 20,000, “no hotels no B&B’s, no informal accommodation” ? I think not. Israelis were afraid I would get injured not knowing that it would be my honor if I were. They have withstood a lonely siege and I would have loved to stand with them.

I met a female police officer in Ashkelon (she lived in Sderot) and she told me there was no accommodation and that even the local Kibbutz was just a “maybe”. I think that no one wanted responsibility for a visitor who might be injured. So, I got the last room on Thursday night at the Holiday Inn in Ashkelon and headed in on Friday morning, Nefar (the IDF Madrichot) was going to see if she could make family arrangements for me but I did not hear from her in time.

It is a wonderful little city, clean and well organized with parks and memorials and mid-sized malls. The policewoman had told me to get off the bus at the police station and that I could see some unexploded Qassam rockets leaning against a wall there. I indeed did and walked into town. When I stopped at a convenience store, I got patted on the back and greeted warmly as people found out who I was and why I as there (‘Mashuginah Goy’ [4]).

I had run out of disposable cameras so went looking to buy some. I also (as a joke) bought about 30 box knives to leave in my warehouse because the ones they were using got lost or damaged and I was ‘hassled’ for it. So I took a bubble-pack of them to Linoy and to Ephraim at the base. They got a good laugh out of my sarcasm and I modestly contributed to the economy of Sderot.

The people were tense but stoic and life carried on. There was no sound of laughter or music.

At the beautiful mall hardware store I asked where I could purchase cameras but no one spoke English. A family followed me out of the store and they were ‘Oleh’[5] from Chicago and the wife and daughter spoke English. They gave me directions to a camera store and I immediately got lost. There was no sign of bomb damage nor shelters but I couldn’t read the signs.

I was told that they get 20 seconds warning from the air raid sirens and have to be under cover. Many mothers have stopped driving their children around because that is not enough time with many children, to assure everyone’s safety. Qassams came in 2 days before and 2 days after my visit largely because the IDF had made a minimal strike into Gaza to ‘hammer’ the rocket-batteries.

Lost, I ran into the family from Chicago again and they took me to a camera shop where I bought 3 cameras. I ventured to ask them about the attacks and they took me to a side-street I had passed where there was a section of street not black-topped. They said the alarm had not gone off and a woman’s car took a direct hit. The shrapnel Hamas put in the bomb (to exact maximum civilian casualties) had shredded the street. The IDF come in, test for unexploded materials, dig out and fill in the crater and repair and paint the street so (like me) no one would know it hit there. The “restoration” psychology is powerful.

The Chicago woman’s brother-in-law and wife spoke no English but he had a broken thumb in a cast and a bruised and swollen lip and mouth. I asked the woman: “. . . Qassam ? ? ? ? ?” and she replied: “no,. . . stupidity. . .!” We all laughed including him. They all had moved out of town.

I went to a restaurant and ordered a large meal I did not need and after repeatedly being told that there was no available accommodation, I went back to the Police Station bus stop – cognizant that Shabbat was coming and not wanting to get stuck by a ‘preparation’ shut-down. Standing at the stop was what I understand to be an orthodox Kibbutz-nik. In 30 degree Celsius weather, she was dressed all in black with a velvet-looking skirt down to her shoes. She wore a black ‘tam’ and I assumed that she was waiting for my bus. A modern tourist-type bus came and her cute little 4 or 5 year old boy got off and she hugged and kissed him with such pleasure, it made me smile. I said “Ashkelon. . . ?” to the driver and he said no and drove off. I waited over an hour.

The bus never came so I tried to make myself understood to a man on the street who looked like the manager of an apartment block across the street. He hailed a taxi with a chain-smoking Turk who gave me a good price to Ashkelon. In the meantime, Holiday Inn had called and said there was a room in Ashkelon, so I took it.

On the way out, I looked across the western Negev landscape to see a side-road with a flat-bed tractor trailer barreling down in a cloud of dist with an IDF Merkava Main Battle Tank as its load.

Ashkelon was a Qassam-target as well over the past years and especially the power plants nearby. But instead I had the pleasure of warm Mediterranean swims and long beautiful beaches with the surf caressing my ears all night long. Those were my 2 nights of luxury in the Army. Looking out my hotel window with binoculars early Shabbat morning I caught a glimpse of kayakers out to sea. They were (I assume) training ‘Seals’ (shy-et-et) heading out into the Mediterranean at full speed and their commander was so fit that he was able to encircle them, (obviously barking out orders) and able to keep up. A Blackhawk helicopter orbited nearby.

I headed back to Tel Aviv next day so I would not be caught late for the Sunday morning muster at the bus station.

The Captain of flight operations had us to a reception at his home; volunteers were giving their impressions of Sar-El. I remained quiet but was asked by ‘Sam Senior’ to give a “newcomer’s” (he really meant ‘Goy’s’) perspective. I reported that it was stunning to be able to assist this ‘miracle’ armed-service in this ‘miracle’ nation that should not exist. Then Michal (the Madricot) broke in and mentioned that I had gone to Sderot and I was given an applause. Unbelievable ! I nearly wept.

Anyway Brian, that’s the story and I know you would have been in Sderot with me had you not had to leave. We might have been able to find accommodation with your Hebrew language skills. But by God’s Grace, maybe next time.
