HAPPY WARRIORS[1] Part 3: EZRA LEVANT

Ezra Levant[2] should win the Order of Canada for promoting real democracy and free-speech in Canada.

Democracy’s absence in Canada is NO reflection whatsoever on the Steven Harper government that has been trying to deal with the crippling aftermath of years of the Liberal-Left dynasty which ruled Canada off and on for pretty much 25 years. Mission impossible: Harper’s efforts are of course, not appreciated as the Trudeau son tries to revive the progressive-ist fortunes of a decimated party. Prime Minister Steven Harper has also taken the most courageous stand on Israel of any G-7 leader.

Levant is a feisty, polemical, loud-mouthed, thoroughly-conservative Jewish genius who has confronted the free-speech-killing machinations of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. When the Commission chose to investigate him and Mark Steyn, I’m quite sure that they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. It is stunningly refreshing in the stultifying, left-wing media propaganda atmosphere in which North America finds itself. He graces the cameras of Canada’s Sun News network and has been confronting the left’s magical thinking[3] for decades.

With caustic humour and incredible intelligence, he personifies the ‘Happy Warrior’ and would give any ‘conservative-heretic’ Canadian a reason to hope in what the left-media would prefer to be the PRC (The Peoples Republic of Canada).

Endnotes:

[1] “The Character of the Happy Warrior” is a poem by the English Romantic poet William Wordsworth. Composed in 1806, after the death of Lord Nelson, hero of the Napoleonic Wars, and first published in 1807, the poem purports to describe the ideal “man in arms,” and has, through ages since, been the source of much metaphor in political & military life.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Character_of_the_Happy_Warrior
